What is the YWorkshops App? 


YWorkshops is the Mobile Application with a library of tracks where anyone can teach or learn anything about the how to start or advance their businesses and careers.

 

What’s the price for the YWorkshops Subscription?

 

We are testing the beta version of the app, so at this moment YWorkshops is free of charge! After the app has proven to be successful we will release it to the public and will introduce a monthly subscription fee. You will get an advance notice once the app will require a paid subscription to access all the content.

 

How do you store my data?

 

When your register with us and become a YWorkshops Member, when you choose to create or start a track, we will ask you for Personal Data. “Personal Data” refers to information about you that can be used to contact or individually identify you. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, but does not include your credit card number or billing information. Transactions on YWorkshops involving your billing and payment information are processed by Apple and are subject to their privacy policies. We do not store any of the credit card or banking information that you provide to these payment processors.

Is YWorkshops offered in other languages?

 

At the moment it is not, but we will be working on expanding the reach and will make it available for other countries once we see the increase in demand. If you are from a country other than United States and want to have YWorkshops available or translated into your language please send your inquiry to hello@yworkshops.com so we can prioritize the expansion.

 

Which platforms can I use to access YWorkshops?

You can download the app using IOS devices, such as  iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. At this moment the App isn’t offered on Android devices, but we will be making it available in the future.

 

What is the Home Tab for?

 

In the Home Tab you can access the entire library of tracks that can help you advance your business.

 

What is the Library Tab for?

 

The Library Tab is the place where you can store all the tracks you want to access later and offline. Clicking the flag in the upper right corner inside the track will add it to your library. When you start a track from a home tab it automatically adds it to your library as well.

 

What is the Profile Tab for?

In the profile tab you can access your account information, links to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Feedback Form and the Help Center.

 

How do I download tracks for offline viewing?

 

Simply add the track to your library by pressing the flag mark in the upper right corner of each track. Please note that if you start the track it automatically gets added to your library and it becomes available for offline viewing.

 

How do I save the track to my library?

 

Clicking the flag in the upper right corner inside the track will add it to your library. When you start a track from a home tab it automatically adds it to your library as well.

 

How can I find the track I’ve already started?

 

Use the Library tab to access the tracks that you’ve already started or completed.

 

How can I search for a specific track?

 

At the moment we aren’t offering a search function, but we will make it available in the near future.

 

Can I listen to the track instead of reading it?

At the moment we aren’t offering a listening otpion, but will introduce it in the near future after the app gets enough traction. If you’d like to see this feature sooner please send your inquiry to hello@yworkshops.com

 

Can I set up reading reminders?

 

We don’t have a reminder or push notification feature available, but if you’d like to see that soon please send your inquiry to hello@yworkshops.com

 

After clicking on the track I see the spinner. What do I do?

 

Please make sure that you have the latest version of the app, check your internet connection, try to restart the app or restart your phone. If that doesn’t help please email us at hello@yworkshops.com to receive support and assistance.

 

Will you be adding new content to the app?

 

Yes! Our content grows based on the amount of submissions we receive. We will continually be looking for adding new content to the YWorkshops App based on your suggestions and feedback.

Can I become a contributor?

 

Absolutely! Anyone can become a contributor if you have valuable experience that can help others with starting or advancing their businesses. Our contributors are creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals who are great at what they do and passionate about sharing their skills with others.

 

What’s the benefit in becoming an app contributor?

 

It’s a great way to build your online following and give back with your knowledge and expertise. If the App proves to be successful we will release the paid subscription module which will also allow you to earn money, which is great!

 

What should a track look like?

 

If you think about the format, it would be a step by step guide, that's brief and digestible, between 10-15 steps each. One step should be no more than 200-300 words each, meaning that you can read it in just under 3 minutes.

Overall these are the things that you'll want to create:

  • Intro to you and intro to the track (200-300 words).
  • 10-15 steps
  • Bonus step (not necessary, some extra food for thought or note you want to include
  • Overall Summary/conclusion (200-300 words)

Think about it as something that someone else would benefit from tremendously. Some things and ideas that could help the future reader with getting tangible advice that can help them move on with their own dreams and goals. And which will position you as a thought leader and will create opportunities for your own business or career. For example, including apps/websites that are helpful to you, or other resources would be beneficial to the readers.

 

How do I submit a track?

 

Please use this link to fill out the Google Form and submit the track. You can fill it out even if the track isn’t ready to receive the timely response and come back to it later. And that's it! We will be in touch once the track is life. Once we have the content up and running we encourage you to share it with the people you know or even with your following. Please give us at least 48 hours to respond to each inquiry.

 

How can I provide feedback for the app?

 

We appreciate the feedback of any kind as we want to know what works for you and what doesn’t. Please use the form in the Profile Tab in the app or simply email us hello@yworkshops.com.

 

Can I use your tracks on my blog/book/magazine/any other source?

 

No,you can’t. All the content in the app is subject to the Copyright Law. Please refer to the further details in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

How do I update my account details?

 

Log into your app
Tap PROFILE on the bottom tab selection
Tap ACCOUNT
From this screen, you will be able to edit and change the following information: First Name and Last Name, Password, Gender.
We currently don’t offer the email update, so if you wish to use the app under a different email you’ll have to create a new account.

 

How do I delete my account?

 

If you're interested in deleting your YWorkshops account* altogether, please send us your request to hello@yworkshops.com. We can take care of that for you.

*Please note that deleting your YWorkshops account is permanent. If you do wish to return to YWorkshops in the future (and, we hope you do!) and your account has been deleted, you will need to create a new YWorkshops account.
